A Bit About Me
I hold a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from the USA, and is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society. I received my training in Singapore and USA. Before joining LivingPath, I worked in government bodies, local university, and community settings. My clientele included individuals and couples struggling with mental health and relationship challenges, as well as families that have experienced abuse and trauma.
I believe in customising therapy to match the needs of each client. Having worked with individuals from different backgrounds, I pay attention to cultural differences. I adopt a range of approaches in my work, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Functional Family Therapy (FFT), and Mindfulness. I am an open-minded, warm, empathic, and compassionate person, making it easy to create a collaborative working relationship with my clients. I believe individuals possess resources within themselves to overcome challenges. My role is to assist clients to draw out these resources, and support them to live with their battle scars or manage existing ones.
