A Bit About Me
Speech and Language Pathology is not just about the science but also the art of how you apply the science.
I have more than 10 years of experiences working in the various public and private healthcare institutions and community agencies. I have been supporting individuals, caregivers, families, groups and healthcare professionals in issues related to speech, communication, language and swallowing. I approach my clients as persons in the context of their environment and seek to understand them and assess their needs holistically in order to offer the best intervention approaches. In the last decade of my work, I have the privilege of successfully supporting persons and families with complex health, psychosocial and spiritual care needs.
It is my belief that it takes a team of people with different skills set to effectively serve the diverse needs of a person, a family, a group or a community. Hence, I am a strong advocate for interdiscplinary teamwork and collaborative efforts with clients and their significant others. I found a teacher in every client that I have served and their teachings are my greatest source of inspiration and motivation to continuously strive to do better.
